Our newest title, The Tammersford Lot by Rosie Driffill, has now been given a launch date of the 20th June 2016 for the ebook with a paperbook launch to be followed shortly afterward in a venue to be confirmed.

This is exciting for us as it has been a while since launching a new author and Rosie is a very talented writer that we're delighted to have on board.

More information will be released soon regarding the launches as well as retailers where the book will be available.

Stephen Bailey a hit with Meltham Readers Group

Posted by Martin Ramsay-Rothery on May 6, 2016 at 10:35 AM Comments comments (0)

Stephen Bailey has started to hit the road with the promotion of his latest novel Murgatroyd's Mill Trip.

Not only has he just come back from America, where he has sold several copies, but on the 5th May he entertained the overwhelmingly female audience at the Meltham Readers' Group where he was received with great success.

After entertaining them with a couple of his short stories, that can only be read in Stephen's own inimitable style, he treated them to a chapter from his latest novel. This resulted in the usual laughing out loud as he recounted the tales with the drunks and the donkey (you'll have to read it to find out more.)

So, we'd like to thank the Meltham Readers' Group for inviting us and we hope they enjoyed the stories.

It's always nice to get a good review, but to get 5* reviews fromt the revered site 'Readers' Favorite' is an honour indeed.

In fact, the whole review glows in the praise of reviewer Ray Simmons, who even compares the works to the famous writer George Orwell.

New Paperback and Ebook Outlets

Posted by Martin Ramsay-Rothery on March 18, 2016 at 7:40 AM Comments comments (1)

Always looking for ways to get our books to more people, we now have some new book distribution outlets for you to buy your Fishcake Titles from. We know the public likes to be given the option to buy from many different sources, so we try and provide as much variety as we can.

Firstly, we have two new Ebook outlets. These are Inktera and Tradebit (There are direct store links to our titles from the titles pages found at

Inktera is a well established online Ebook store that delivers numerous titles, Fishcake's among them. You may find other titles that you have been looking for here as well. They even provide free software that allows any downloads from their site to be read on your computers, tablets and e-reading devices.

Tradebit is an online store that specialises in trading digital files, so here you can download .mobi, .pdf and .epub files of all our titles. As an incentive to try these, most of our titles are listed at 50p or FREE. Here you can find...well basically anything that is filed digitally. Music, software, Ebooks, films, the list goes on.

Further to this, we have also started selling our paperbacks DIRECT FROM FACEBOOK. Yes, you can now buy Fishcake Titles direct from the Fishcake Publications Facebook Page under the Products tab. This is easy to do, performs just like a normal online store and you can pay through Paypal - all without leaving Facebook. Take a look a look at

Having multiple outlets is a great way to reach more people as everyone has their own individual shopping habits. Let's hope this allows more people to discover Fishcake titles.
